Police Blotter: Private Investigator Caught Following Woman

Information supplied by the Highland Heights Police Department.

A caller from Wilson Mills Road at 10:55 a.m. Dec. 13 said a grey Jeep Cherokee had been following his wife all morning from Twinsburg. He had the Jeep blocked in with a bronze Nissan. Police said the man in the Jeep was a private investigator.

A Highland Road resident called at 7:55 p.m. Dec. 14 to report a car had been stolen in Shaker Heights. The car was recovered in Cleveland, but the garage door opener was gone and the car had papers listing the owner's address. Police were asked to pay special attention to the house.

A truck was in the grass off of Horseshoe Drive near Wilson Mills Road at 7:40 a.m. Dec. 14 and the driver's head was on the steering wheel. Police said the driver was sleeping. The truck was stuck and he had been waiting three hours for a tow.

A Wilson Mills Road woman called at 7:42 a.m. Dec. 14 after a neighbor told her a person wearing dark clothing and carrying a bat was in her backyard.
