Police Blotter: Parent Suspicious Teen Daughter Might Host Party

A Longspur Road man called at 9:38 p.m. Jan. 7 and wanted police to check his house about 11:30 p.m. He was out of town and thought his 16-year-old daughter, who was supposed to be staying at a friend's house, might host a party. Police found a door that wasn't locked, but no one appeared to be home.

A Jefferson Drive woman reported at 2:53 p.m. Jan. 9 that two men claiming to be from a furnace company were at her house the previous day to clean the furnace. She since found out the men were not from the furnace company.

A Ford Road woman called at 11:22 p.m. Jan. 7 and said that about an hour earlier someone rang her doorbell three times and ran.

A resident said a man was selling meat from a small white truck at 2:57 p.m. Jan. 6 on Miner Road. Police were unable to find the man.
