Police Blotter: One Group of Juveniles Gets Another in Trouble

Information supplied by the Highland Heights Police Department.

A Strumbly Drive woman called police at 11:18 p.m. Oct. 1 after two girls knocked at her door and asked what street they were on. The girls met up with some other juveniles and walked toward Wilson Mills Road. While looking for them, police stopped an unrelated group of juveniles who had been throwing eggs and talked to their parents.

A West Inverness resident at 6:36 p.m. Sept. 30 reported a scam involving a person who claimed to be working for Medicare/Medicaid and was asking for information. The caller tried back and was very angry with her, she said.

A caller told police at 3:59 p.m. Sept. 30 that a white truck stopped a few minutes after mail was delivered and went through his mother's mailbox on Sept. 28 on Miner Road. He said his mother did not get a license plate. Police said to call when such an incident is happening rather than wait two days.
