Police Blotter: Officer Settles Dispute Between Neighbors

Information supplied by the Gates Mills Police Department

A disturbance was reported at 6:49 p.m. July 18 on Timberidge Trail. The dispute involved two neighbors. Police spoke to them and neither wanted to pursue the matter any further.

A car was stopped for speeding at 12:53 p.m. July 19 on Gates Mills Boulevard and the officer discovered the driver had a suspended driver's license. The 55-year-old Highland Heights man was cited for speeding, no driver’s license and operating a vehicle while under suspension.

An accident was reported at 4:40 p.m. July 22 on Mayfield Road. There were no injuries in the two-car crash. One of the drivers, a 19-year-old man from Newbury, was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
