Police Blotter: Man Skips Out on Bill in Protest of Haircut

A man walked out of Best Cuts on SOM Center Road without paying at 4:05 p.m. Oct. 24. He told police he was not satisfied with his haircut. The man decided to pay the $14.50 bill and was told not to return to the business.

A Marsol Road woman called police at 8:25 p.m. Oct. 23 about ongoing problems with a neighbor playing music very loud. She called building security, but the person turned the music back up after security left. Police talked to the neighbor, who then went back to the caller's apartment and told her that the next time she called police the music would be turned up to full volume.

A customer tried to use a fraudulent credit card to buy three Mac products at 12:44 p.m. Oct. 23 at on Golden Gate Boulevard. A store employee told police that the suspect had been at the Macedonia location earlier in the day. Poilce arrested three men and one woman, who were all charged with illegal use of credit cards. Police said one of the men had six Michigan driver's licenses, all with the same picture but different names.

A caller at 4:42 p.m. Oct. 22 said a woman was screaming at a small child in a car in a SOM Center Road parking lot. Police said a husband and wife were arguing and were told about the complaint.

A Mayfair Boulevard resident told police Oct. 22 that kids who do not live there were playing ball in the driveway next door and he already had to replace a window because of them. Police said one of the juveniles lives at the house and they were told they could play basketball as long as they stayed on their property.

A Temple Avenue resident called at 10:28 a.m. Oct. 22 to complain that a neighbor put out trash too early in the day.
