Police Blotter: Man in Underwear Passed Out in Garage

A Summit Drive man called at 8:50 p.m. May 17 and said he wasn't home, but his daughter told him there was a man in his underwear passed out by the garage and using a heater that was in the garage. The man was taken to South Euclid and told not to return or he would be charged.
A Jackie Lane woman came home at 8:36 p.m. May 17 to find someone had broken into her home.
A black Hyundai SUV was parked with two people inside at 12:09 p.m. May 17 on Genessee Avenue, according to a caller who said the man and woman moved to the back seat. Police told the car's occupants to move along.
A man who stole a bottle of wine earlier was back at Giant Eagle on Mayfield Road at 11:53 p.m. May 16 and was bleeding all over the store, a caller reported. Police said the man had walked away from Hillcrest Hospital earlier in the evening. He was taken back to the hospital.
A car hit a motorcyclist at 10:49 p.m. May 15 at Mayfield Road and Parker Drive. One person was taken to Hillcrest Hospital.
A caller saw two men trying handles on car doors at 1:42 a.m. May 15 at Marsol Towers Apartments. He said they saw him as he was calling police and left the area. Police were unable to locate the suspects.
A woman called from the lobby of a Marsol Road building at 1:31 a.m. May 15 after hearing another woman screaming for help. Police said the woman had blood on her face and it appeared that she had been grabbed by the throat. A man was arrested for domestic violence.
