Police Blotter: Man in Black an Obstacle for Motorists

A motorist complained at 6:27 a.m. March 13 that a man dressed in black clothing walks in the street every morning on Bishop Road and he has to swerve to miss him.

Two callers reported an accident at 7:02 p.m. March 14 at Highland and Bishop roads. Police said there were no injuries. One of the drivers was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence.

An officer stopped two men after a complaint about juveniles being out at 1:50 a.m. March 15 at Highland Road and Stumbly Drive. Police said there was no cause for the complaint – the 21-year-old men were home from college and did a late workout.

A deer was hit by a car and was lying in the roadway at 8:22 p.m. March 13 on Bishop Road.
