Police Blotter: Man Gets His Stuff Back After Showing a Receipt

A disturbance was reported at 12:56 p.m. Feb. 28 at a Dorchester Road residence. Officers said the disagreement was about property and the item in question was returned to the man who complained after he provided a receipt.

An accident was reported at 10:51 a.m. Feb. 27 on Mayfield Road. There were no injuries in the two-car crash. One of the drivers, a 44-year-old Middlefield woman, was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

A caller at 12:57 p.m. March 2 said a suspicious man was sitting in a car near St. Francis School. Police said the man was waiting for a friend who was at church.

An accident was reported at 7:33 a.m. March 4 on Brigham Road. A car went off the road and hit a fence and a tree. No one was injured.
