Police Blotter: Lost Lyndhurst Man Helped Home

Police helped a 38-year-old Lyndhurst man get home after a caller reported a suspicious man at 5:29 p.m. Jan. 15 in the area of Mayfield Road and West Hill Drive. The man told police he had been drinking earlier in the day and was trying to walk home. An officer gave the man a ride home.

An accident was reported at 4:22 p.m. Jan. 11 at Mayfield and County Line roads. A 65-year-old Chardon woman, a passenger in one of the cars involved in the crash, was taken to Hillcrest Hospital for treatment. One of the drivers, a 49-year-old Chardon man, was cited for failing to yield the right of way when turning left.

A worker at an Epping Road residence called police at 9:39 a.m. Jan. 14 because a suspicious person rolled down one of the windows on her car. Nothing was missing from the car.
