Police Blotter: Girls Let Police In On Senior Prank

Two girls came to the police station at 10:51 p.m. June 1 to let officers know they played a harmless senior prank at the – they changed the letters on the activity board in front of the library. They wanted police to know in case anyone reported the incident.

Police checked out a truck parked on the grass at the baseball fields near the high school at 11:24 p.m. June 2. There was no damage to the grass and a male and a female in the car were given a stern warning.

A tree looked like it had been split and a large branch was about to fall and cause damage at 7:55 p.m. June 2 on Sandalwood Drive. Police said it looked like it needed attention, but residents said it had been like that for two weeks. The homeowner called a tree service to take care of the problem.

Two persons with video cameras were parked in a red Jeep on the path to the high school off Ridgebury Boulevard at 10:27 p.m. May 29. When the person who called police asked them what they were doing, they said they were videotaping in the woods near the high school. Police checked and said it was a legitimate school project.
