Police Blotter: Frustrated Man Has Nowhere to Yell

A Mayfield Road resident called police at 5:52 p.m. Aug. 16 to ask where he could go to blow off some steam. He said police were called because he was outside venting and he couldn't scream inside his apartment or outside when he is having a bad day. He added that he does not drive. Police told them man he cannot create a disturbance and offered to get him counseling help, but he hung up.

A man kicked out of a SOM Center Road bar was getting some kicks of his own in at 12:50 a.m. Aug. 17. A bar employee told police the man was in the parking lot kicking cars before running across the street. No damage was done to the cars and the suspect was taken to the police station to have someone pick him up.

Woodhawk Club called at 11:29 a.m. Aug. 16 because a man was banned from the pool for not following condo rules and he was refusing to leave. Officers spoke to the man, who said he never received the letter. Even after officers gave him a copy, he still refused to leave. Management told him he would be given some time to grab his stuff and go or they would pursue trespassing charges.

A caller said two suspicious men were taking a guardrail apart at 5:57 p.m. Aug. 15 on Interstate 271 over Marsol Road. Police said the men were workers replacing a section of guardrail taken out by a semi truck.
