Police Blotter: Fountain Suds, Fraudulent Charges and Accidents

A Blackberry Lane resident called at 5:51 p.m. May 29 to report criminal mischief after someone put soap in a fountain. The resident requested special attention to the property.

A Gates Mills Boulevard resident filed a fraud report at 10:32 a.m. May 29. He said someone made several unauthorized charges to his debit card in the past week.

A 911 caller reported an accident at 1:08 p.m. May 31 on Mayfield Road. There were no injuries in the two-car crash. A 64-year-old Chesterland woman was cited for making an improper lane change.

An accident was reported at 11:48 a.m. June 1 on SOM Center Road involving two cars. There were no injuries. A 25-year-old Pepper Pike man was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
