Police Blotter: Drivers Cited in Pair of Accidents

A Battles Road resident came to the police station at 6:37 p.m. July 25 to file a fraud report. She said an unknown person was using her debit card information to make purchases.

A Chagrin River Road resident called police at 2:30 p.m. July 27 about annoying phone calls from a person unknown to her. She did not wish to pursue criminal charges.

An accident was reported at 12:25 p.m. July 29 on Mayfield Road. There were no injuries in the two-car crash. One of the drivers, a 17-year-old Gates Mills girl, was cited for failing to yield the right of way when turning left.

Police were called at 9:24 a.m. July 30 about a two-car accident on Brigham Road.  Responding officers determined the crash involved two vehicles and there were no injuries. A 44-year-old Pepper Pike woman was cited for failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
