Police Blotter: Driver Cited After Car Rolls Over in Ditch on Brigham Road

Information supplied by the Gates Mills Police Department.

A 911 caller at 3:02 p.m. Feb. 10 reported that a car rolled over on Brigham Road. Police said the car went off the road, hit a ditch and rolled over. The driver, a 21-year-old Mayfield Heights man, and a passenger, an 18-year-old Mayfield Heights woman, were taken to Hillcrest Hospital for treatment. The driver was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control of the car.

An officer stopped a car for a stop sign violation at 7:59 p.m. Feb. 7 on Berkshire Road and the driver had a suspended license. The 19-year-old Westlake man was cited for the stop sign violation, no operator's license and driving while under suspension.

A 911 caller at 12:03 a.m. Feb. 8 reported suspicious circumstances on Norvale Circle West. She thought someone was walking around outside her house. Officers checked the area but did not see anyone.

A car was stopped for speeding at 8:24 p.m. Feb. 8 on Brigham Road and the driver, a 44-year-old Chesterland woman, had a suspended license. She was cited for speeding, no operator's license and driving while under suspension.
