Police Blotter: Deer Creates Its Own Open House

A real estate agent called at 12:44 p.m. Nov. 10 to report damage to windows at a home she was showing. An officer said a deer had broken through the windows.
An accident was reported at 5:36 p.m. Nov. 8 on Mayfield Road. The crash involved two cars and there were no injuries. A 16-year-old Shaker Heights boy was cited for failing to yield the right of way when turning at an intersection.
A 911 caller at 1:22 p.m. Nov. 11 hung up prior to talking to a dispatcher. Police said there was a dispute at the Riverview Road house and one of the persons involved left.

An accident was reported at 12:28 a.m. Nov. 12 at Mayfield and Chagrin River roads. Police said a car hit and fence and left. Police caught up with the driver and the 35-year-old Lyndhurst man was arrested and charged with failure to control, leaving the scene of an accident, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle with a prohibited blood alcohol content.
