Police Blotter: Computer Stolen From Eastwood Avenue Residence

An Eastwood Avenue man called at 4:42 p.m. Feb. 15 and said he came home to find a laptop computer missing. There were no signs of forced entry and he had not checked to see if anything else had been taken.

A caller complained that there was a lot of construction noise coming from the area of the new Sonic Drive-In at 10:31 p.m. Feb. 15 on Mayfield Road. A man told police he was just finishing up the pavement. He was told to wrap it up for the night.

A caller at 3:57 p.m. Feb. 15 wanted police to speak to a couple who were moving out of a Woodhurst Avenue residence because he didn't want them to cause more damage. Police said an officer would tell them they are not to return to the property.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 12:19 p.m. Feb. 15 on Fruitland Avenue, where a woman chased a man out of the house. She also threatened to stab herself. Police said the woman was taken to Hillcrest Hospital and the dispute was verbal and not physical.

An Oakville Road woman called at 6:46 p.m. Feb. 14 to report having trouble with a neighbor playing video games real loud. She knocked on the door, but the neighbor refused to answer. Police told the man to turn it down.
