Police Blotter: Chardon Woman Given Ride Toward Home

Information supplied by the Gates Mills Police Department.

A 911 caller at 11:15 p.m. Feb. 1 reported a suspicious pedestrian on Brigham Road. The pedestrian, a 27-year-old woman, said she was trying to get back home to Chardon. An officer drove her to Mayfield Road and Route 306.

A County Line Road resident came to the police station at 10:27 a.m. Jan. 30 to file a harassing commmunication report. She said she was getting harassing phone calls for the past several days.

A West Hill Drive resident called at 1:07 a.m. Jan. 31 and said his doorbell rang and no one was at the door when he checked. Police looked around the area and did not see anyone.

A three-car accident was reported at 8 a.m. Jan. 31 on Mayfield Road. No one was injured. A 21-year-old Novelty man was cited for failing to stop in an assured clear distance ahead.
