Police Blotter: Car Sealed in Shrink Wrap

A newspaper delivery person called at 4:20 a.m. April 1 about a suspicious car parked on Bonnieview Road. The car was covered in shrink wrap and the windows were whited out. Police talked to the car's owner and she said it belonged to her son, who was probably sleeping at a friend's house. She said the car was likely vandalized as a prank.

A woman said she heard some type of loud noise outside at 8:35 p.m. April 3 on Echo Drive. She said it was loud enough to keep her son awake. Police couldn't locate the source of the noise and called to notify the woman. Her husband said the noise stopped.

A caller reported a possibly intoxicated driver at 8:38 p.m. April 3 on SOM Center Road. Police said the driver checked OK and he was looking for a place to eat.

A woman said at 7:40 p.m. April 2 that she was walking her dog in the Metroparks and it got loose. She called back and said she found the bull terrier.

A woman called at 5:38 p.m. April 2 from Metro Park Drive because a woman was stalking her.

Someone removed the lug nuts and took a tire from a car on Marlboro Court, a resident told police at 7:08 a.m. March 31. She said the car belongs to her son and was left up on a block.

Two teenage boys snuck into the field house at 7:28 p.m. March 28 on Wilson Mills Road. The manager asked them to leave or pay to use the gym and they cursed and yelled at him.
