Police Blotter: Car Crash Was All in the Family

Information supplied by the Highland Heights Police Department.

An accident was reported at 7:38 p.m. Feb. 24 at Highland and Bishop roads. Police said the accident involved a woman and her daughter and they did not want police involvement. The cars were taken to a repair shop.

A Dunbar Lane resident called police at 5:43 p.m. Feb. 27 after a neighbor's dog left its business in his yard and it wasn't picked up. Police said the neighbor cleaned up after her dog and the caller was satisfied.

A Charles Place woman called at 8:22 p.m. Feb. 24 to report that her house had been burglarized.

An Ox Ridge Trail woman said at 9:15 p.m. Feb. 24 that her husband saw two people sitting in the back of a black sports utility vehicle and told them to leave the area. He said there was an odor of marijuana coming from the SUV. Police checked and were unable to find the suspects.
