Police Blotter: Bus Driver Complains That Cars Aren't Stopping

A Highland Road resident called at 10:13 a.m. Feb. 15 on behalf of a bus driver who picks up passengers everyday at 7:25 a.m. The bus driver said motorists were not stopping for the stop sign on the bus.
An officer suggested at 6:42 a.m. Feb. 15 that service department crews be sent out to check intersections citywide, because a few were icy.
A woman wanted in Bratenahl for impersonating a police officer and operating a vehicle under the influence was stopped in a blue Ford Escape at 6:13 p.m. Feb. 14 on Wilson Mills Road. She was held for Bratenahl police to pick up the woman, who owed money for her fines.
A called at 12:03 a.m. Feb. 15 reported that two cars pulled into the city park on Wilson Mills Road and might be conducting a drug deal. Two suspects wearing all black ran when police arrived and were caught on Wilson Mills Road and cited for trespassing. Two other suspects were caught in a church lot.
Someone tried to enter a scrap bin at Swagelok on Bishop Road, a caller reported at 9:17 a.m. Feb. 14.
