Police Blotter: Black Friday Drivers to Spend Money on Tickets

Traffic patrol cars were busy in the evening hours on Nov. 25. Activity included three speeding tickets given on Interstate 271, a red light violation ticket on Wilson Mills Road, an illegal left turn citation on Alpha Drive and a ticket for headlights on Wilson Mills Raod. Warnings were given for headlights on SOM Center Road, a taillight on Ridgebury Boulevard and speeding on Northboro Drive.

People were inside a car parked at 12:01 a.m. Nov. 26 at . Police sent the car's occupants on their way.

A teenager was crying while walking at 12:27 p.m. Nov. 24 on Ridgebury Boulevard. He wasn't wearing shoes and didn't respond when the caller tried to stop him. Police talked to the boy, who had been upset about doing dishes but calmed down.

Police said two juveniles were caught in a precarious situation in the back seat of a car parked at 12:58 a.m. Nov. 23 on Zorn Lane. Police called parents of both juveniles and an officer took the girl home.

Three suspicious men were carrying things back and forth at 8:51 a.m. Nov. 21 in a Hickory Hill Drive yard. The men were working for a tree service.
