Police Blotter: Baby Found In Locked Car

Baby locked in car
A 911 caller reported that a 3-week old baby was locked in a car on Medway Rd. on June 9 at 12:52 p.m. The owner didn’t have extra keys, and an officer couldn’t get the car unlocked. The owner broke the front window and discovered the baby was fine.
Van windows broken

An AT&T SBC Ameritech van had its windows smashed out on Alpha Dr. and discovered on June 11 at 7:11 a.m. Police have no leads at this time.
Wallet stolen

A woman reported leaving her purse in her car and returned to discover her wallet had been stolen at the Home Depot on Wilson Mills Rd. at 11:40 a.m. on June 13.
Baby deer put down
A woman discovered a baby deer in her Highland Rd. backyard with broken legs on June 8 at 9:51 a.m. Police determined that the deer had to be put down and did so before children in the neighborhood took note of the scene.
