Police Blotter: Auto Repair Shop Caught in Custody Battle

A disturbance was reported at 2:03 a.m. May 13 on Mayfield Road by a caller who said people in a parking lot were screaming and laughing. Police checked and all was quiet.

A student was still waiting for a ride home at 6:07 p.m. on SOM Center Road. Police took the boy home, where an adult cousin was waiting.

A Euston Drive man wanted help at 3:41 p.m. May 12 because his sons wouldn't get in the car to go to a Family and Children's Services meeting. The man called back and said he no longer needed assistance.

An auto repair shop on Mayfield Road was in the middle of a car custody battle at 12:53 p.m. May 12. A woman was on her way to pick up a car she dropped off for repairs and the car is in her estranged husband's name. He told the business that he didn't want her to have the car and was coming to pick it up. Police said the woman picked up the car and the husband never showed.

A cat was stuck in attic insulation at 9:50 a.m. May 12 at an East Miner Road residence.
