Police Blotter: 7 Coyotes Spotted in Mayfield Road Yard

A man called police at 12:35 p.m. Dec. 22 after spotting a pack of seven coyotes in his yard on Mayfield Road, near Gates Road. The animals left and no police help was needed.

A 911 caller reported that a man was sitting in his car and was unresponsive at 3:33 a.m. Dec. 21 on Racebrook Lane. Police said the 35-year-old man, who lived at the residence, was suspected to be intoxcated. He fought with officers who tried to help him and ran a short distance before being caught. He tried to hit an officer again and a Taser was used on him. The case is pending a court hearing with Cuyahoga County Prosecutors office.

A two-car crash was reported at 4 p.m. Dec. 27 at the intersection of Battles and Brigham roads.
