Police Blotter: Unwanted Guest Gets Boot

Information supplied by the Gates Mills Police Department

A Chartley Rd. resident placed and an emergency 911 call in the early afternoon of July 7 and said an unwanted guest was at the residence and refused to leave. Officers spoke with a Beachwood man, 28, who agreed to leave the property and not return. The resident did not want to pursue criminal charges.

Signs stolen: A Gates Rd. resident said an unknown party recently stole several “No Trespassing” signs from her property the afternoon of July 2.

Checking for footsteps:  A Dorchester Rd. resident placed an emergency 911 call and said she heard footsteps on the roof of her house the evening of July 2. Officers checked the residence but were unable to locate anyone.
