Mayfield Heights Police Arrest Woman for Stealing From 4 Eastgate Retailers

Mayfield Heights Police arrested a woman last weekend for stealing from multiple stores at Eastgate Shopping Center.
According to the department's Facebook page, the woman didn't pay for any of the items she took from four different retailers at the shopping center on Sept. 21. The stolen merchandise was valued at $2,504.71.
Police arrested her after finding her hiding in the backseat of a car parked at the shopping center on SOM Center Road.
Police did not include the woman's name in their post and did not return a call seeking additional comments. She faces felony theft and possession of criminal tools charges.
