Half-Naked Man Shows Up At Bar: Mayfield Heights Police Blotter

Incidents reported in early April:

Threat at Sonic: A manager at Sonic called Mayfield Heights Police just after 8 p.m. on April 1 to report a threat written in a restroom.

The manager said it resembled the writing of a child. The message indicated that a bomb was left in the area. The reporting officer was unable to locate anything.

The manager asked to call again if she had any more suspicions.

Best employee arrested: A caller told Mayfield police at noon on April 2 that a Best Buy employee used the person's credit card to buy $1,700 worth of goods.

Police later arrested a male for theft and he was held for bond.

Half-naked man arrives at bar: A caller from Cork N Bottle told police that a half-naked man came to the business at 1:46 a.m. stating that he was robbed at gunpoint but offered no further information.

The man was dressed in stretch pants and wrapped in a white blanket. An off-duty officer securing the ER department at Hillcrest Hospital advised police that a man matching that description had just run from the hospital.

The man was soon returned to Hillcrest
