Drunk Man Falls Off Bike at Mayfield-Lander: Police Blotter

The following information was supplied by the Mayfield Heights Police Department

Rock throwers: Police responded to a call at 9:19 p.m. May 4 regarding a group of teens believed to be causing trouble.

According to the police report, four teenage girls were walking south on Fruitland Avenue and seen picking up rocks and decorations from home yards and throwing them into the street. The caller said they were loud and using foul language.

The girls were walking towards Marsol, the caller said, but the police were unable to locate the group.

Drunk on a bike: Mayfield Heights Police traveled to the intersection of Mayfield and Lander roads at 9:21 p.m. May 4 to check on a man a caller said was highly intoxicated on while riding his bike.

The caller had stopped to check on him, but quickly realized he was drunk that could not properly steer his bike. Officers reported, but let him go when he promised that he would walk his bike back to his home on Roselawn Road.
