County Sheriff Looks for Mayfield Heights Man On the Run Since December
Robert J. Cornelison failed to appear in court after he was indicted for the aggravated robbery of Zeppe's Pizzeria.
A Mayfield Heights man made the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department's wanted list this week for an aggravated robbery that took place in November.
Robert J. Cornelison, 29, was arrested for the aggravated robbery of Zeppe's Pizzeria in Highland Heights on Nov. 14, 2012. He was indicted on that charge a month later, but never showed up to court, David P. Synkowski, a county sheriff's department sergeant said.
He was reissued a court date in late April, but failed to show up for that, too. His last registered address is 5875 Ridgebury Blvd., Synkowski said.
According to a Cleveland.com report, Cornelison was arrested with Lindsey Vaught, 30, of Willoughby, who police say flashed a gun during the Zeppe's robbery. The duo were also accused of robbing three businesses in Lake County.
Though the wanted list says Cornelison lived in Mayfield Heights, the Cleveland.com report states he lived in Willoughby at the time of the crime.
Cornelison is also wanted for two probation violations. His record includes domestic violence and another theft.
He is listed as 5-foot-11-inches and 180 pounds. If you see Cornelison or know his whereabouts, call the county's tip line at 216-252-7463.
