Cops Called for Dog Rescue and Birthday Brawl

The following information was provided by the Mayfield Heights Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

Mayfield Heights Police were called to break up a fight at Chuck E. Cheese's on Nov. 24.

Police were notified that a fight was taking place inside the restaurant's birthday room. The caller didn't know who was involved, but called it a brawl. One customer claimed to having been “jumped” by her daughter's father.

Animal rescue

On Nov. 18 police were notified of a dog locked up in a black Honda parked behind Gates Mills Place. Police noticed there was no signs of any ice on the car, so the dog may not have been in there for a long period of time. However, they could not locate the owner.

Police checked later to find the owner, and found the car was no longer on the premise.
