Angry Walmart Employee Cuts Merchandise: Mayfield Heights Police Blotter

The following information was supplied by the Mayfield Heights Police Department

Incidents reported in early April:

Not in my yard: A caller on Ranchland Drive told Mayfield Heights Police that her neighbor had been throwing items from her yard to the caller's around noon on April 4.

Possibly aware that her neighbor had alerted police, the woman attempted to block her neighbor from passing her on the street. She then returned to her yard. She told a reporting officer that she was simply removing cigarette butts from her yard.

She was advised by the officer to stay out of her neighbor's yard.

Angry employee: A caller from Walmart said a male employee was "tearing up the store" about two hours before opening time with a box cutter.

It was unclear was made the employee angry or how much damage he caused just before 4 a.m. on April 6, but Walmart did not want to pursue charges.

He was advised not to return or he could be arrested for trespassing.
