Listen & Learn with The Cleveland Orchestra

Join Rose Breckenridge, lecturer for The Cleveland Orchestra Music Study Groups, to explore the music the orchestra will play at the free Star-Spangled Spectacular concert on Public Square on Monday, July 1st. Music will include John William’s “Superman” March (in honor of the 75th anniversary of Cleveland’s own man of steel); “Suite from Toy Story” (by Randy Newman, recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee); and patriotic favorites (“1812 Overture,” “The Stars and Stripes Forever,” “America the Beautiful”).

This program will take place at the Mayfield Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library on Thursday, June 6, 2013 beginning at 7 P.M.
