One Word to Describe Your Father?

No two responses were the same for these Mayfield area residents, children and politicians.

What's the first word that comes to mind when you think of your father?

That's the question Mayfield-Hillcrest Patch posed to area residents, politicians and kids, as Father's Day approaches. No two answers were the same, but it's clear that Dads have a lasting impact on people of all ages.

For most, one word just wasn't enough to express how a father can make one a better person.

Here are the people who shed some light on what their fathers mean to them:

  • Mayfield Heights Councilwoman Diane Snider
  • Mayfield Library visitor Colin
  • Mayfield Heights Police patrolman Matt Mikolay
  • Mayfield Heights Assistant Law Director Bryan Carr
  • Gates Mills resident Cooper
  • Mayfield Library visitor Liz
  • Mayfield Heights Mayor Anthony DiCicco
  • Gates Mills resident Harrison
