In the past decade, efforts throughout Northeast Ohio to localize our food system have provided communities with new tools for addressing on-going health, environment, and economic challenges. Much of this work has been driven by grassroots entrepreneurship and new forms of collaboration within communities. This presentation will feature some inspiring stories from communities in Northeast Ohio who have come together to create a more healthy, sustainable, and fair food system. Features short film clips and inspiring images from Northeast Ohio.
Also joining us will be Jerry Glick from Landmark Land and Garden, with a presentation about Urban Organics products such as Sweet Peat.
