Gazebo, community gardens proposed in Highland Heights

The Highland Heights Lions Club and the Highland Heights Garden Club would like a community garden established at green space located just west of City Hall on Highland Road.

Mayfield Heights City Council to investigate mayor

Mayfield Heights Council to research a 2008 private contract between Mayor Gregory Costabile and Seagull Development Company. The company has done business with the city since that deal and research is intended to determine if there has been any conflict of interest. Costabile excused himself from city dealings with Seagull because of his private contract.

Students jump rope for heart disease

Mayfield High School students for the American Heart Association at the annual Jump Rope for Heart event. Top fundraiser was 11th-grader Morgan Yokosuk, who raised $1,000.

Hillcrest Hospital has advanced facility to treat brain conditions

Hillcrest Hospital's has equipment to allow doctors to see all the tiny blood vessels in the brain and for improved diagnosis and treatment of patients with strokes and brain aneurysms.

Shop Local at Casa Dolce

The series about local businesses stopped at the Mayfield Road cafe, bakery and takeout shop owned by Margie Axelrod. The store specializes in Italian favorites.
