Saint Paschal Baylon Hosts Ecumenical Prayer Service
Hillcrest Clergy Association will present the service on Sunday.
The Hillcrest Clergy Association will have an ecumenical prayer service at 3 p.m. Sunday at , 5384 Wilson Mills Rd., Highland Heights.
The Rev. Roger Bourgeois, senior parochial vicar at Saint Paschal Baylon, said the first-ever Thanksgiving service will bring people of different faiths together.
"Ministers from the different churches will be coming to pray together," he said. "Our church choir is going to perform. Anyone can come. It's open to all faiths."
Members of the association will have different roles in the service and congregation members will be part of the ecumenical choir.
Guests are also asked to bring donations for the Cleveland Food Bank.
There will also be a reception in the church social hall after the service and participants are encouraged to bring an appetizer.
