Everyone's Irish for a day

"Patch Picks," a weekly feature at Hillcrest Patch, highlights editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend a day off, and more.

You’ll find useful lists to help you, your family, friends, and significant others find the best places for everything from Sunday brunch to New Year’s Eve celebrations, pumpkin patches, date night destinations, florists, girlfriend nights out, kids' party places, parks and more.

This week, we select five places to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

Mulligan's Pub & Grille, 6131 Highland Road, Highland Heights. Local Irish pub is a natural for St. Patrick's Day.

The Boneyard, Mayfield Road, Mayfield Heights, has a St. Patty's Bash 2011 planned, with corned beef dinner and drink specials.

, 2167 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights. An Irish pub with dartboards, soccer, rugby and other sports on the TVs and a wide assortment of beers.

Claddagh Irish Pub at Legacy Village in Lyndhurst. The popular chain pub's sure to be a busy place on St. Patrick's Day.

And, of course, the Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Parade, which starts at 1:04 p.m. from the intersection of Superior Avenue and East 18th Street and heads southwest on Superior to East Roadway, northwest on East Roadway for a block and then northeast on Rockwell Avenue to East Sixth Street.
