Mayfield Village To Celebrate Mother's Day With Coloring Contest, Pancake Breakfast

Mayfield Village is hosting both a coloring contest and a pancake dinner for Mother's Day.

Kids can enter the coloring contest (and win their mom a prize) by printing out the attached black-and-white photo, coloring it and returning it to the Mayfield Village Civic Center by May 3.

The contest is available to any village residents who are 10 or younger. Winner will be picked at random and contacted by phone.

All the pictures will be on display during the Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast on May 12 at the village's Service Building at 610 SOM Center Road.

Tickets for the Pancake Breakfast can be bought at the Civic Center up until May 9 or at the door on May 12.

Children from 5 to 10 cost $4; seniors (62 or older,) $6; everyone else, $8.

The breakfast will include all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, yogurt, milk and juice.

There will be entertainment by harpist Xiao Lei Salovara and balloon art by Swifty the Clown.
