Great Escape: Reiki Clinic at Ursuline College

Relax and enjoy a healing touch

Open your mind. Fly under the radar. The worst that can happen is that you will relax.

You will. You may even fall asleep. And you may wonder how a Reiki treatment can
have that effect. After all, the Reiki practitioner’s touch was as light as a butterfly, or she never touched you at all.

Reiki is a natural healing technique that uses gentle hand placements to transmit
energy, Nancy Herrick explained. She is director of the Reiki Clinic at Ursuline College.

“All living things are made of life force energy and it flows in and out of us. When our energy is low, we’re more likely to feel stressed or ill. Reiki restores this flow of energy.”

It works together with other medical treatment. Appointments are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. A $10 donation is recommended but no one is turned away for inability to pay. The clinic is at the Ursuline College, 2600 Lander Road, Pepper Pike, in the Education Center, best accessed from the Fairmount Boulevard entrance.
