Chardon Shooting Victim Transferred to MetroHealth Medical Center

Nick Walczak had been at Hillcrest Hospital.

The remaining hospitalized victim of the Chardon High School shooting has been transferred from to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.

Nick Walczak, 17, had been shot in the neck, arm and back. He was in serious condition and unable to move his legs, although that Nick had started to move his toes.

Hillcrest Hospital spokeswoman Heather Phillips said Nick was transferred to MetroHealth to undergo intensive rehabilitation.

Another of the Chardon shooting victims, Joy Rickers, 18, had been treated at Hillcrest Hospital and was released Feb. 28.
