On the Campaign Trail- The FINAL WEEK!!

So here it is... the last week before the election. Next week will be dedicated to my son Morris IV, who passed away on November 5, 2012. I just wanted to wrap up my thoughts on the election, to say my thank you's to all of the people who were there to support me. To say I appreciate all of the good wishes and new friends I have made along the way. This has been one long year. Running for Mayor of the city that I love has been a challenge, a blessing and most importantly, a dream. When I win this election, I will work hard to make all of our dreams come true. I will promise you that much. I know that I will really dedicate myself to the job, that I will really truly be a great Mayor with no hidden agendas, no conflicts of interest. I will make myself available to the residents all of the time. (well hopefully not too much in the middle of the night- LOL- at my age I need my sleep). The one thing in life that I regret is the things that I never tried, the unfinished business. I can say that with this election, win or lose, I will have no regrets. I knocked on every door, I worked full time, I tried my best. There is nothing more important than putting forward your best foot in any endeavor in life, the only regrets I have are the things I never finished, never tried to do... Unfinished business.   I have dedicated my whole life to one thing and one thing only.. helping other people. This had nothing to do with a campaign, nothing to do with any ulterior motives. This is what I wanted to do with my life because it made me feel good. When I win this election, I will continue to help people, to try and make their lives better, to make small differences in the world. This I can guarantee each and every one of you, because this is who I am and will always be. So, I wish my opponents the best of luck and I know in my heart that I can truly and genuinely be the best person to serve as Mayor of Mayfield Heights. Next Tuesday we will see if the residents agree with me... God Bless each of you and may you find a way to "pay it forward" like I feel is necessary. Happy 27th Birthday on November 5th to my beautiful daughter Jessica. I love you more than life. Remember, Remember the 5th of November. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CevxZvSJLk8
