Same Old Song and Dance....
It has been another hectic week working on my campaign. This week all of the Mayfield Heights Mayoral Candidates were invited to an nominating scanning interview. Anthony and I showed up for the interview, not surprisingly, Diane Snider never showed up. She has never had time to show up for any debate, always sending one of her family members in her place. It makes me wonder if she will have time to administer the duties of the Mayor of our city, or will she have family members doing that for her too. I was surprised that one of the interviewers was former Mayor Greg Costabile. I guess he was not forced to resign this position in his plea deal agreement, when he was under a Grand Jury Investigation that forced him to resign in shame as our Mayor. What really surprised me was that Anthony DiCicco still defended his decision to support Mayor Costabile, while he was a Council Member, and that he continually stuck by the disgraced Mayor right until his resignation. Ex- Mayor Costabile suggested that one of my supporters be removed from the committee. That didn’t happen as he had hoped. The vote was still an overwhelming, 2/3 in my favor for the nomination.
