According to Elianna, my granddaughter, the main event this weekend is the parade. Elianna has been counting the bags of candy that we have purchased weeks ago, making sure that she practices throwing properly, since now that she is two and a half (not just two) she gets to go with Nonna in the parade. She took me shopping for a new dress for the occasion, and carefully chose her favorite color dress, after looking at four different stores. She is so excited to be in the parade, it is the highlight of her summer. So on Sunday at 1:00, please come up to Mayfield Road between the Lyndhurst Greens and Golden Gate and cheer on Elianna as she throws her candy. (Hopefully not eating it all before the parade begins).
