Video: Hillcrest Rotary Club Speech Contest

Second-place winner Rob Razzante of Mayfield High School

Speaker Rob Razzante of Mayfield High School won second place and $100 in the Rotary Club of Hillcrest/Rotary Club of Hillcrest-Sunrise speech contest. Rob talked about facing adversity.

Hillcrest Sunrise Rotary Club President Mike Johns Jr. said the contest has been held for 30 years.

"They must use the four-way test to address a moral issue in their speech," he said.

The four-way test is: Is it the truth?; Is it fair to all concerned?; Will it build goodwill and better friendships?; and Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

On Wednesday, we'll present excerpts from the first place speech.
