Two Bucks to Open Aug. 14 (UPDATED)

The date is tentative, but the owners believe they can open within a week.

The ownership at Two Bucks will open its doors Wednesday Aug. 14.

The restaurant and bar will open for lunch at 11 a.m. in Golden Gate shopping plaza. A grand opening "blowout" would follow this weekend, co-owner Cory Rowland said.

As Mayfield Heights Fire Department personnel conducted an inspection last week, Rowland said his date was tentative because there was still a bit of work to do. However, he seemed much more certain about Wednesday in an email to Patch.

"We've got our liquor license, we're waiting on our table tops and for some other jobs," Rowland said. "We're really close, but not quite there yet. Hopefully by the end of this week, we'll get all our orders in."

Rowland said there are a couple of job openings still available on a staff of about 15 or 16.

Two Bucks' concept centers around economically priced food and drinks. There are Ohio locations in Avon, Middleburg Heights, North Olmsted and Parma. Check out the menu.
