Panera Offering Free Lunches to Military Personnel

Deal available today and Wednesday.

Panera Bread is spreading a little holiday cheer this week, offering a free lunch for military personnel and veterans in Northeast Ohio, and the and Mayfield Heights locations are taking part.

Northeast Ohio marketing coordinator Ashley Bates said the owner wanted to do something special during the holidays "for the men and women who sacrifice for us all year."

Anyone who comes into participating locations wearing his or her military uniform or who shows his or her military ID will receive a free "Pick Two" meal, Bates said. The meals allow guests to pick between soups, salads and sandwiches.

The deal will be available during lunch and dinner hours Tuesday and Wednesday. Lunch typically begins at 11 a.m., Bates said. There’s one free meal per eligible guest.
