Was winner of 2011 Patron Award from International Association of Forensic Nurses.

Registered nurse Diane Daiber was named the nominee for the Ohio Hospital Association Albert E. Dyckes Health Care Worker of the Year Award, given to a caregiver who gives back to the community, goes beyond the call of duty and overcomes odds to succeed.

Daiber has years of experience treating sexual assault victims in the emergency department and is an advocate for patients. She campaigned to bring a formal, comprehensive program to the hospital and runs the Forensic Nursing Services Program, overseeing a team of 17 forensic nurses.

She was the winner of the 2011 Patron Award from the International Association of Forensic Nurses and serves on the Ohio Attorney General's task force on sexual assault.

Daiber also educates law enforcement personnel, school nurses and teaches about sexual assault and domestic violence.
