Highland Heights Community Garden Registration

Excitement is building at the community garden site!  Open registration for the Highland Heights Community Garden is Wednesday, June 6th at the new green space gazebo adjacent to the Highland Hts. Police Department.  The garden opens for planting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 9th and registrations will be taken that morning as well.

Plots are 8'x 8' and cost is $18.00.   Sponsored by the Highland Heights Garden Club, these 36 plots are just the beginning for what promises to be a fun, educational and fruitful (vegful!) family and neighborhood gathering place.  There is one more wheelchair accessible plot remaining.  With community support the goal is to grow this Community Garden year by year.  Those who "rent" a plot are required to use only natural and organic gardening practices.

There will be a homegrown pizza week in August when participants will get a free pizza dough ball to use with their own tomatoes, peppers, garlic, and basil.
