Eight Hawken Seniors Named National Merit Semifinalists

The students were selected based on their high PSAT scores.

Eight Hawken School seniors have been named semifinalists for the National Merit Scholarship program.

Here are the students from Hawken that are semifinalists for one of the $2,500 scholarships:

  • Siddarth K. Ahuja, Gates Mills
  • Aric G. Floyd, Cleveland
  • Sophia L. Kerman, Shaker Heights
  • Zachary Kirsch, Highland Heights
  • Emma G. Link, Cleveland
  • Elijah R. Spiro, Solon
  • Sarah E. Stark, Beachwood
  • Benjamin D. Wu, Cleveland
These students are among about 16,000 semifinalists across the country. Semifinalists are selected based on their 2012-2013 PSAT scores, which are the highest scoring in each state.

The Hawken seniors could find out if they are selected as finalists in early 2014.
