Viewfinder: Toad-ally Awesome Amphibians
Cleveland Metroparks North Chagrin Reservation hosts event
Native and exotic amphibians were the big draw on Saturday. Kids and adults wore green, dappled or frog-themed clothing in celebration of this jam-packed event.
Volunteers and naturalists answered questions, assisted with amphibian-related activities and kept the stars of the show moist and gleaming. The activities took place indoors and out. Although the weather was nice for warmly dressed humans, it did put a damper on observing amphibians in their natural outdoor habitat.
